About BANG
BANG is the trading name used for this online clothing business. Customer enquiries can be made through our contact page or by email at orders@bangtshirt.com.
Business/legal address: This information should be completed with the trader's current UK geographical or registered business address before launch, where required by law.
02
Products & descriptions
We make reasonable efforts to describe products, colours, materials, measurements, embroidery, artwork and other features accurately. Screen settings, lighting and photography can cause colours to appear slightly different from the physical garment. Measurements may also have reasonable manufacturing tolerances.
Product images are for presentation and may show styling or photography that is not part of the product supplied. The product description and options selected at checkout form part of the order.
All orders are subject to product availability. If an item becomes unavailable after an order is placed, we will contact the customer and, where appropriate, offer an alternative or refund the affected amount.
03
Prices, offers & payment
Prices are displayed in pounds sterling unless stated otherwise. Applicable delivery charges and promotional conditions are shown before the order is completed.
Payment must be successfully authorised before an order is accepted for processing. Promotional codes and free-delivery offers are subject to the conditions displayed at the time of purchase. We do not retrospectively apply an offer where its published conditions were not met.
04
Delivery
We will provide available delivery options and estimated delivery information during checkout. We will take reasonable steps to dispatch orders within the stated timeframe.
If no specific delivery time has been agreed, consumer law generally requires delivery without undue delay and no later than 30 days after the contract is made, subject to applicable exceptions and arrangements agreed with the customer.
Customers should provide an accurate delivery address and check their order confirmation. If an order is delayed, lost or arrives damaged, please contact BANG so we can investigate with the carrier and take the appropriate action.
05
Online cancellation rights
For most standard online purchases, consumers have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days after receiving the goods without giving a reason.
After notifying BANG that they wish to cancel, the customer normally has a further 14 days to send the goods back. This means the statutory process can extend to 28 days from delivery, but it is not a 28-day free-return promise.
The customer may inspect clothing as reasonably necessary, in a similar way to inspecting it in a shop. If goods are handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, the law may allow a deduction for resulting loss in value.
Nothing in these terms removes or restricts a statutory cancellation right where it applies.
06
Returns & refunds
For a change-of-mind cancellation, the customer is normally responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods, provided BANG has given the required information about that cost before the contract is made.
For a valid cancellation, BANG will refund the payments due under applicable law. Where the customer paid for delivery, the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered is generally refundable. Any additional amount paid for a more expensive delivery option does not have to be refunded beyond the standard option.
Where permitted by law, BANG may wait until the goods have been received back or the customer provides evidence that they have been sent back before making the refund.
Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method and within the period required by applicable law.
Important:
Return postage for a change-of-mind return is different from the delivery charge originally paid to BANG. The customer normally pays the return postage; BANG does not describe this as a free-return service.
Garment condition & hygiene
For hygiene and quality reasons, customers should try garments on over clean clothing where practical and return change-of-mind garments clean, unwashed, undamaged and free from avoidable marks, stains, perfume, deodorant, make-up, smoke, pet hair or other contamination, with original tags and packaging where reasonably possible.
This condition is intended to protect garment hygiene and resale quality. It does not create a blanket rule that ordinary T-shirts are non-returnable. Customers retain their statutory rights.
Specific statutory exceptions can apply to qualifying sealed goods where health or hygiene reasons mean they cannot be returned after being unsealed.
Sale & promotional items
Sale and discounted goods retain their statutory consumer rights. Any additional promotional return condition will be shown clearly before purchase and cannot remove statutory rights.
07
Faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods
Consumer statutory rights apply in addition to these terms. Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described where required by law.
If a fault is discovered, contact BANG with the order number and a description or photographs where useful. Depending on the circumstances and timing, the consumer may have a short-term right to reject, a right to repair or replacement, or a right to a price reduction or final rejection where the statutory requirements are met.
Where an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, BANG will not treat the customer's statutory remedy as an ordinary change-of-mind return.
Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
08
Other terms
Personalised or custom goods
If BANG offers personalised or custom-made goods, the statutory cancellation rules may differ for qualifying personalised or custom products. Any applicable exception will be explained clearly before the customer commits to the purchase. Faulty or misdescribed custom goods remain subject to applicable statutory rights.
Garment care
Customers should follow the care instructions supplied with each garment. Damage caused by incorrect washing, drying, ironing, alteration or other misuse may not be a manufacturing fault. This does not affect statutory rights where the problem was already present or otherwise covered by law.
Intellectual property
BANG names, logos, artwork, photographs, written content, graphics and other original website material belong to BANG or its licensors unless stated otherwise. They may not be copied, reproduced, modified or commercially used without appropriate permission.
Website use
We aim to keep the website available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that every page or feature will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update products, content, prices and features when reasonably necessary.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited. Nothing in these terms affects statutory consumer rights.
Complaints
If something has gone wrong, please contact BANG first with your order number and the relevant details. We will review the complaint and respond as soon as reasonably practicable.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. Information submitted through orders, accounts or contact forms is used for the purposes described in that policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for future orders. The version applying to an order is the version presented or incorporated at the time the order is placed, subject to mandatory legal rights.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law applicable in the relevant part of the United Kingdom. For consumers, mandatory protections in the country in which they live are not excluded by these terms.
